Police said one person was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound after being shot by an armored car security guard outside of a Southwest Arlington bank Tuesday morning.
Arlington police said an armored car security guard was servicing the ATM at the Bank of America on the 4200 block of West Green Oaks Boulevard when he was approached by a man on foot at about 10:45 a.m.
The man sprayed an unspecified chemical at the guard, police said, and was soon confronted by a second guard who fired multiple shots at the man, striking him at least once in the abdomen.
